What multi-location Google Business Profile software costs in India (with sources)

A sourced look at multi-location GBP management pricing in India: INR vs USD, per-location traps, GST invoicing, and where PlaceOptimizer sits.

If you manage Google Business Profiles across ten, fifty, or two hundred locations in India, the pricing question is deceptively simple: what does the software actually cost per outlet, per month, and is that number visible before you talk to a salesperson? For a lot of the global platforms, the honest answer is "it depends, quoted in dollars, and you'll find out on a call." This post pulls together the pricing that vendors have already published, keeps every currency and billing cadence exactly as sourced, and shows where PlaceOptimizer's own tiers sit. No conversions, no guesses about numbers a vendor hasn't listed.

One thing up front, stated plainly: PlaceOptimizer's management platform is in early access today. The tiers below are our published, indicative plans, offered to design partners while we validate them against real unit economics. What is live right now, for anyone, with no card, is the free audit. Keep that distinction in mind as you read.

The published prices, side by side

Here is every price we can point to a source for, drawn from vendor pricing pages as already cited on our comparison pages, plus PlaceOptimizer's own published tiers. Where a vendor doesn't list a public price, the table says so rather than inventing one.

BrightLocal (Grow)~$8.99 effective per locationper location / monthBrightLocal help center, via BrightLocal comparisonJune 2026
Partoonot publicly listed (quote-only per point of sale)via Partoo comparisonJune 2026

A few honest caveats about the table. The Semrush Local figures are the Base and Pro tiers as publicly listed; brands with 20 or more locations move to a custom quote, so past that band there is no published number to cite. BrightLocal's roughly $8.99 effective per-location rate sits at its Grow tier, and 100-plus locations likewise move to custom pricing. Sekel Tech publishes a per-outlet INR range rather than a single figure. Partoo, despite having a Mumbai entity, doesn't publish an INR price list at all. We are not going to estimate any of the unlisted numbers, because a made-up price is worse than an honest "not listed."

Why INR and GST invoicing actually matter

It is easy to wave away currency as a cosmetic detail. It isn't, and here is the concrete reason. When a platform prices in USD, an Indian brand doesn't just pay a converted amount; it budgets against a moving exchange rate, pays in dollars, and reconciles foreign-exchange invoices at the end of the quarter. The number on the pricing page is not the number the finance team can plan around, because the rupee cost drifts every month.

GST invoicing is the other half of this. An Indian business needs a tax-compliant invoice to claim input credit and to close its books cleanly. A foreign vendor billing in USD may not issue a GST invoice at all, which turns a routine software expense into a reconciliation headache. Pricing per location, per month, in INR, with GST built in, means the figure you see is the figure you budget, and the invoice you get is the one your accountant expects. That is the whole point of an India-first price list rather than a global suite with an India toggle.

The per-location trap to check before you buy

Most multi-location listing software prices per location, which sounds fair until you do the multiplication. At $30 per location per month, a 40-outlet brand is looking at $1,200 a month, roughly a six-figure annual rupee spend before GST and before any custom-tier uplift kicks in above the published band. The trap is not that per-location pricing is wrong; it's that the entry-tier number you see on the homepage is rarely the number a real estate of locations pays.

So before you sign anything, get three things in writing:

  • The price at your actual location count, not the entry band. If the published tier caps at 20 or 100 locations and you're above it, ask what the custom rate is before you commit, and ask whether it's still per-location or a flat platform fee.
  • The billing cadence and lock-in. Annual billing is usually cheaper per month but commits you for a year. Monthly is flexible and pricier. Know which one the quoted number assumes; the two are not comparable.
  • What's included per location versus what's an add-on. Rank tracking, AI review replies, and multi-platform sync are sometimes bundled and sometimes billed on top. A cheap base rate with expensive add-ons can cost more than a higher all-in tier.

Two India-specific features worth paying for

Beyond price, two capabilities separate software built for Indian multi-location brands from software that merely tolerates them.

Bulk edit with diff-and-apply

If you have fifty listings and Google's category taxonomy changes, or you rebrand, or you standardise store hours, editing them one at a time in the Google interface is a week of work and a guaranteed source of typos. Bulk CSV export and a diff-and-apply import, where you see exactly what will change before it changes, is the difference between a fifteen-minute update and a fortnight of manual edits. This is the flagship capability in PlaceOptimizer's Starter tier, and it's the first thing worth stress-testing in any demo, whoever's demo it is.

India geo hierarchy

Google's address model and India's administrative geography don't line up neatly. A tool that understands State → City → District → Taluk lets you filter, group, and report on your estate the way an Indian operations team actually thinks about it, rather than forcing everything into a flat list of pins. If your brand spans tier-2 and tier-3 markets, this stops being a nice-to-have.

Where PlaceOptimizer sits

Our published tiers are Starter at ₹650, Growth at ₹1,250, and Enterprise from ₹950 per location per month, all billed annually and exclusive of GST, all visible on the pricing page without a sales call. Starter covers multi-location listing management, the bulk CSV diff-and-apply import, the India geo hierarchy, review monitoring, and suspension alerts. Growth adds rank tracking, AI review replies including Hindi and regional languages, and multi-platform sync. Enterprise adds the brand-compliance engine, granular roles, and a public API.

Being straight about maturity: those management tiers are early access, offered to design partners while we validate the pricing against real usage. We are not claiming the platform is generally available, and we are not showing you customer logos or "live locations" counts we don't have. What you can use today, at zero cost, is the audit. It applies our checklist across seven categories to every listing Google returns for your brand and hands back a ranked issue list in about a minute. That's the honest wedge: prove the value cheaply first, then decide whether the platform is worth a per-location commitment.

How to actually compare

The fastest, most honest comparison isn't a spreadsheet of feature checkmarks; it's running the free audit on your own brand and seeing the output, then putting the published prices above next to your real location count and doing the multiplication yourself. If a vendor won't show you a per-location number for your actual estate size before a call, that's information too.

Start with the free audit to see the engine on your own listings, then read what the audit actually checks today so you know exactly what the score does and doesn't certify. The prices above are sourced and dated; the audit is live and free. Both are meant to let you decide with real information rather than a sales pitch.

Put this playbook on autopilot.

The free audit runs every check in this post across all your locations — no card required.
