Paste your Google Maps link or Place ID We’ll create a direct link customers can use to leave a Google review.

Generate review link How do I find my Place ID? - 1 Search your business on Google Maps Open Google Maps on your phone or computer and search for your business name and city.
- 2 Open the correct listing Tap your business in the results and open its listing — make sure it is the right location before you copy anything.
- 3 Copy the full link from the address bar The full link starts with google.com/maps/place/ and carries your location’s code. Short links (maps.app.goo.gl) do not carry it, so open the listing in your browser and copy from the address bar.
- 4 Paste it into the generator Paste the link into the field above — the generator pulls the Place ID out of it, so you never have to find it yourself. If you already have a bare Place ID (ChIJ… or 0x…), paste that directly instead.

## How to create and share a review link
Turn a Google Maps link — or a Place ID — into a direct “write a review” link customers can tap, then put it where they already are. Built entirely in your browser, no sign-up.

- 1
### Find your Place ID
Paste a Google Maps link and the generator finds the Place ID for you — or paste the Place ID itself. It is Google’s unique identifier for one specific location, so the link targets that one listing.
- 2
### Generate the review link
Paste it into the generator above; it builds the standard Google review URL — https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=<your-place-id> — entirely in your browser.
- 3
### Copy the link
Copy the generated link with one tap. It opens the “write a review” box for that exact listing and stays usable while the listing and its Place ID remain valid.
- 4
### Share it where customers are
Put the link in a thank-you SMS, an invoice or email footer, a WhatsApp Business quick reply, or a “Rate us on Google” card — or turn it into a QR code for the billing desk.
- 5
### Generate one link per location
Each location has its own Place ID, so create one link per outlet — a per-location link routes every review to the right branch.

## How to find your Place ID

## What a Google review link is
A Google review link is a direct URL that opens the “write a review” box for one specific Google Business Profile. Instead of asking a customer to search for you, find the right pin among lookalikes, scroll to reviews and tap “Write a review”, the link drops them straight into the review form. Fewer steps can reduce friction for customers leaving a review.

## Ways to use the link
Put the link where customers already are: a thank-you SMS after a purchase, the footer of an invoice or email receipt, a WhatsApp Business quick reply, or a small “Rate us on Google” card at the counter. For a physical store, turn the link into a QR code and place it at the billing desk — the generator here can create and download one. The same link works on every device and stays usable while the listing and its Place ID remain valid.

## Does a review link improve your ranking?
A review link does not change your ranking on its own. Reviews can influence how customers perceive your business, while Google’s local ranking systems consider multiple factors — relevance, distance and prominence among them, with review count and score part of the picture. What the link does is remove friction: fewer steps can reduce the chance that a customer who already wants to leave a review gives up before reaching the form.

## Your privacy
The generator runs entirely in your browser. Your Place ID — or the link you pasted — is used to build the review URL on your device and is never sent to our server, stored, or shared. We never need access to your Google Business Profile: no sign-in, no permissions, no account, no API key.

FAQ
## Frequently asked questions
- ### What is a Google Place ID?
A Place ID is Google’s unique identifier for one specific location on Google Maps. It is a short, opaque token (often starting with ChIJ) that points at exactly one Google Business Profile, so a link built from it targets that one listing.
- ### Where do I find my Place ID?
The easiest way: search your business on Google Maps, open the listing, and copy the full link from the address bar — the generator above pulls the Place ID out of it for you. A Place ID can also be read from a listing URL, where it appears after place_id= or as a long code starting with 0x.
- ### Do I need a Google API key to use this?
No. The tool builds the standard Google review URL from the Place ID (or pasted link) in your browser. There is no API call, no key and no sign-up required.
- ### Does the link open the review form directly?
Yes. The link opens the "write a review" box for that exact listing — customers skip the search, the lookalike pins and the scroll, and land straight in the review form.
- ### Can I share it on WhatsApp or as a QR code?
Yes. After generating, use the share row to send the link on WhatsApp, SMS or email, or tap "Create QR code" to download a QR for your counter, receipt or invoice footer.
- ### Will this improve my ranking on Google?
No — the link itself does not change your ranking. Reviews can influence how customers perceive your business, while Google’s local ranking systems consider multiple factors. What the link does is reduce the steps between a customer who already wants to review you and the review form.
- ### Will this work for every location of my brand?
Each location has its own Place ID, so generate one link per outlet. That is intentional — a per-location link routes each review to the right branch, so every outlet’s reviews land on its own listing.
- ### Is my Place ID stored anywhere?
No. The link is built on your device: your Place ID or pasted link is never sent to our server and never stored. Close the page and it is gone.
- ### The link does not work. What now?
Check that the listing still exists on Google Maps and that you pasted a complete Place ID or a full listing link (short maps.app.goo.gl links do not work). If the link was generated from a bare Place ID, try pasting the listing link instead and generate again — both spellings of a Place ID (ChIJ… and 0x…:0x…) are accepted.
- ### Can I share a direct Google review link?
Yes. Google allows businesses to share a direct review link or QR code when requesting genuine customer feedback. Don’t offer incentives for reviews or selectively request only positive reviews.
