# Multi-location local SEO platforms for healthcare clinics
How to evaluate multi-location local SEO platforms for a clinic or diagnostic network, which vendors publish pricing, and the healthcare-specific gaps to check.

A multi-location local SEO platform for a healthcare network has to do three jobs: keep every clinic's listing data accurate and consistent, surface the problems that only appear when you compare locations against each other, and give the head-office team one view over a network that is often operated by many different people. This post is a landscape of the category as vendors currently publish it, with the healthcare-specific evaluation questions that generic comparisons skip.

Two ground rules for what follows. Every price is either a figure the vendor publishes on a page we opened and dated, or it is recorded as quote-only — we do not estimate an unpublished number. And no vendor here is scored on features we have not verified, so this is a map of the market rather than a ranking.

## What this category does, and what it does not
Local SEO platforms in this segment cluster around four capabilities: listing management and distribution, review monitoring and response, rank or visibility tracking, and reporting. Different vendors weight these very differently, which is why "local SEO platform" describes products that overlap only partially.

What none of them does, and what is worth saying because the category markets around it: no tool controls your position in Google's local results. Google names relevance, distance, and prominence as the ranking factors and states that complete, accurate information helps it match a business to the right searches ( Google's tips to improve your local ranking , accessed August 2026). A platform improves the completeness and accuracy inputs. Any vendor score that presents itself as a ranking score is asserting something Google does not publish, and that includes ours — our audit score measures listing data quality against our published checklist and nothing more.

## The pricing landscape, as published
The table below records only what each vendor publishes on its own page, read on the date shown. Vendors who do not publish are recorded as quote-only rather than estimated.

Vendor What it primarily is Published pricing Source Sekel Tech Hyperlocal discovery and commerce suite Per-outlet INR tiers; custom quote above 1,000 outlets Sekel Tech's published per-outlet pricing page , read August 2026 Semrush Local Local SEO software Per-location USD rates; custom quote at 20+ locations Semrush's Local product and pricing page , read August 2026 Synup Agency listing-management subscriptions Monthly tiers billed annually, with location caps Synup's published pricing page , read August 2026 LocalClarity Review and listing management at scale Per-location monthly rates published, volume pricing on request LocalClarity's published pricing page , read August 2026 Yext Digital knowledge and listings platform Single-location annual packages only; 10+ locations directed to sales Yext's published Listings plans and pricing page , read August 2026 BrightLocal Local SEO reporting suite Location-band pricing in USD, per-location figure not readable from the public page BrightLocal's pricing page, which bands by location count , read August 2026 Birdeye Reputation and customer-experience platform Not published; contact sales Birdeye's pricing page, which routes to contact sales , read August 2026 SingleInterface Enterprise location-marketing platform Not published SingleInterface's website, which lists no prices , read August 2026 PlaceOptimizer GBP audit and operator console Per-location INR rates published at every band, GST stated separately PlaceOptimizer's pricing page Three observations that survive the individual figures. Roughly half this market quotes rather than publishes, so a like-for-like comparison across the whole set is not available to a buyer before sales calls. The products are not substitutes for each other — a reputation platform and a listings audit engine solve different problems and their price tags are not comparable even when both are published. And where a vendor publishes an entry tier with a location cap, that number stops describing your cost the moment your estate exceeds the cap.

## The healthcare-specific evaluation questions
Generic comparisons of this category treat all multi-location businesses as the same buyer. A clinic or diagnostic network differs in four ways that change what matters.

### Does it handle complex and holiday hours?
Healthcare formats carry more hours complexity than retail: separate sample-collection windows, consultation timings that differ by day, and holiday closures where an error means a fasting patient travelled for nothing. Ask specifically about special-hours support, not just weekly hours. Google supports special hours for holidays ( Google's guidance on setting special hours , accessed August 2026), and tooling coverage of that surface varies a lot. Ours does not automate stale holiday-override detection today, and we say so rather than let a weekly-hours check imply it.

### How does it treat practitioner listings alongside clinic listings?
This is the duplicate pattern unique to healthcare. A doctor's personal practitioner listing at the same address as the clinic listing is not always a duplicate to be removed — sometimes both are legitimate — but it does split reviews and confuse patients when it is unintentional. Ask how a platform distinguishes the two, and be suspicious of any tool claiming it merges duplicates automatically, because Google's own duplicate handling is a manual review process rather than an automatic one.

### Can it describe services separately from categories?
Category selection is the strongest signal about which query a listing should answer, and a pathology lab and a general physician need different ones. Google also exposes a services surface distinct from the category, which lets a business list what it actually offers ( Google's guidance on managing services on your Business Profile , accessed August 2026). A platform that only manages categories leaves that surface unmanaged.

### Does the review workflow suit clinical content?
Review response in healthcare is not a templating exercise. A specific clinical complaint needs a considered reply, and privacy constraints shape what can be said in public at all. A tool that optimises for high-volume templated responses is solving a restaurant's problem, not a clinic's. Ask what the approval workflow looks like before a reply goes public.

## How to shortlist, in order
- Run a scored audit on your own network first. Before any demo, get the ground truth: how many listings exist for your brand, where they disagree with each other, and which have Critical gaps. Every vendor claim should then be tested against that output rather than against a slide.
- Write one spec and send it to every vendor. Location count, the modules you need, the review workflow you require, and the contract term you will accept. Quotes assembled against different specs are not comparable.
- Reduce every offer to a per-location per-month figure. That is the only unit in which a published price and a quote can sit side by side. The cost calculator does the multiplication against published rates and marks quote-only vendors as quote-only.
- Ask for the automated versus manual versus roadmap split in writing. The feature grid is the advertisement; that split is the contract. Ours is published per check in what the audit checks today .
- Verify the healthcare-specific items on a real clinic. Holiday hours, services, practitioner-listing handling, review approval. These are the four places a general-purpose tool most often turns out to be thinner than the demo suggested.

## Where PlaceOptimizer fits, and where it does not
We are narrower than most of the platforms above. PlaceOptimizer is a Google Business Profile audit engine plus an operator console for multi-location Indian brands: scored audits across seven categories, cross-location consistency detection, proximity-based duplicate candidates, a bulk CSV diff-and-apply workflow, and INR pricing with GST invoicing. We are not a reputation platform, we do not syndicate to a global directory network, and we do not offer rank-grid tracking today. If those are the capabilities you are buying, the incumbents above are the right shortlist and we would say so on a call.

One limitation that matters specifically for a healthcare buyer, stated up front. Our generic-primary-category check validates against a retail allowlist today, so that particular check is not yet tuned for clinics; the cross-location category comparison applies to every vertical, including healthcare.

PlaceOptimizer is in public beta and onboarding its first design partners. We have no healthcare customer logos, case studies, or testimonials to show you, and we would rather state that than let an absence read as modesty. What we do offer is a free audit that runs on your own clinic network in about a minute and produces output you can check against reality yourself.
